Firearms Sales Policies

Garner's Sporting Goods (hereinafter referred to as "Garner's") adopts and applies the following policies regarding the transfer of firearms.  These policies are in place to protect Garner's and the consumer.  These policies are non-negotiable and will be followed in respect to every firearms transfer.

1. Regarding in-store transfers of firearms: (a) Garner's may only transfer handguns to Oregon residents eligible under state and federal law to purchase and possess firearms; (b) Garner's may transfer long guns to eligible residents of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and other states as prescribed by law.

2. According to Oregon and federal law, you must be 18 years of age to purchase a long gun and 21 years of age to purchase a handgun.

3. In order to have a firearm shipped to an Federal Firearms License holder, Garner's must have a signed copy of the FFL on file prior to release of the firearm.

4. Once a firearm is accepted by the receiving FFL, Garner's is no longer responsible for that firearm in any matter.

5. Full payment, including shipping, will be required prior to the order and release of a firearm to the applicable FFL.  This includes all in-stock and any special order firearms.
